What should you do if you're planning a Formal Ancient Egyptian Party?
I'm turning 16 next year, and for my Sweet 16, I wanted to redo an Egyptian theme. It's to be classy, tasteful, and (hopefully) not campy. I want to know if there any resources I can find for: dishes,linens,costumes,props... And should I have some belly dancing? What should be done for my entrance? And if possible- can anyone tell me where I can find a palanquin/litter that is mobile? We're willing to go all out (but not too much) and if it helps- I live in NYC. Any planning help would be welcome and advice,suggestions are wanted! If you want anymore Information please ask!
you could have the egyptian scarab beetle pendants,and keychains as party favours.
Go to the library and check what egyptians eat,(in historic times and modern)that way u can go to the local middle eastern fast foodchains and sample what it is that u want for ure bday.
i dont know how you would like it but how about a snake charmer?Belly dancing would look cool at the party.for ure entrance you could dress up as cleopatra if you wanted to...(or Nefertiti)
