Why do 90% of Ancient Egyptian artifacts have the Noses Broken off to hide the Black Features?
I've recently been studying Ancient Egypt for the past 2 years, and have been to 4 different museums. I see the SAME exact thing at everyone, the statues have broken off noses & lips... I just don't understand, it's pretty much fact the ancient Egyptians were Black Africans. So why try to hide it?
The Nile is 3,000 miles long, and the ancient Egyptian Civilization spanned 3,000 years+.
Running South to North, the Nile is where Blacks and Whites reunited after being apart for tens of thousands of years. Early Egyptian Pharaohs tended to be Black, later ones were lighter. Upper Nile residents (south) were more likely black. Lower Nile residents (north), were often lighter skinned. The 1st Egyptian Dynasty (3100 BCE), was a unification of north & south. They probably had racial issues, as we do today!
Today, Egypt is a thorough genetic mixture of both Black & White, not unlike many African-Americans. Statues that are 2-5,000 years old, are usually broken in many places, for obvious reasons!
